This is a very good example of an English-made flintlock trade gun, circa 1830. The gun is original flint and has never been fooled with. It is iron mounted, walnut stocked, and has a 51" octagon to round wedding band barrel. Caliber is approximately 60. Wood is very good with a couple of age cracks around the lock. Iron is a nice dark patina. The trigger guard shows fairly heavy pitting. Most of the rest is in very good condition. Lock is marked LYALL & CO. and works like it should. Gun shows little actual use. It is uncleaned and in nice original conition. I expect shipping to be about $50 due to length.
