Factory cased Deane-Adams style percussion revolver. 41 caliber, 6-5/8 inch octagon barrel. Very fine engraving. Super-fine checkered grips with very pretty grain. Marked on top strap "IMPROVED PATENT REVOLVER." No other markings except serial number 6005. Case is numbered to the gun in two places. Blue is about 70-80% with the weakest area on the left side barrel flat. Cylinder retains 50% shiny blue with balance turned a nice brown patina. Bore is as new. Case has all the toys. The right hinge on the case needs to be repaired. Overall, this is a very nice set, and the gun shows very little actual use.
